This was our first wedding (reception) in Cambodia, the niece of a member of our branch.
Wynnette stands near the bride. This was just one of the many outfits that she wore that night. Tradition dictates that the bride and groom change outfits several times during the evening.
We were seated at a table ready for the feast. They kept bringing out plates of food and lots of drinks.
Everyone on our table were members of our branch: two families, a sister and us. It was great fun. Conversation would have been more possible but there was very loud music that we could not only hear but that we could feel.
Wynnette with Mary(our translator at church from the Philippines) and her husband Sda (from Cambodia) who brought us in their car to the wedding. Lots of food.
Our table all delivered our money envelopes to the bride and groom and posed for our final picture. It was a great evening and a delight to share with members of the branch.
