Today (Sunday April 21st) we went visiting members of our branch with the RS president, Marie and our translator Sophy. The RS president rides a bike so we encouraged her to go with us so she can get a tuk tuk ride and her visits will be much easier.
| The first thing was to go into the jungle to find the members houses. |
We found a member's home after church. It was enjoyable talking with them.
This family is raising pigs next to their house.
The husband was making pig food.
We were fascinated with the pigs. They raise them to sell them.
I was interested in the chicken. I remember the first home we visited and a chicken jumped over my shoe. Now that was a first for me when visiting members.
The children were happy to see us. We are called Grandpa and Grandma Greer.
The mom was happy to pose for a picture at her home. We always give each family copies of pictures we take and they love them.
This family was grateful to see us. Notice the water well on the left.
The children loved to pose for a picture. This is five of the eight children.
This LDS mother of eight just had her baby a week ago.
We were happy with our Sunday visits and plan to do this many times in the future.
