More Angkor Wat & Aspara Dancing

We wanted to again visit new Cambodian temples near Angkor Wat that we didn't see before on our P Day. There are so many different buildings.

We took Da, one of our translators and his sister Dana to see Angkor Wat. This one is called Neak Pean located next to Angkor Wat.

This temple is called Prah Khan which you can see is different again. Very interesting details are carved in the sandstone rocks.

This one is so unique because of the gigantic roots which cover the buildings.

The Senior Couples had a meeting on Mar. 31st so we went out to eat after at Viva, a mexican restaurant which is so rare to see in Cambodia. The night before we went to dinner with another senior couple at Koulen 2 Restaurant where Aspara Dancing was provided.

This dancing was amazing and done so slowly and methodically.

This very slow dancing was fascinating to watch.

This dancing included men. It was rather clever.

These amazing dances were great; we enjoyed the buffet too.

This Aspara dancing was fascinating. It is unique to Cambodia and truly a dance of grace and charm. We were so glad we were able to see this.
