Angkor Wat with the Elders

Because of the Khmer New Year, little missionary work could be done. So we got permission to have the four elders come with us to Angkor Wat on Saturday, the second day of the Happy Khmer New Year celebration.

We loved going to Angkor Wat again. It is amazing.

These actors joined us who are part of the folklore associated with Angkor Wat.

The four Elders (Elders Anderson, Sok, Edmunds, and Sam) having fun at Angkor Wat.

Elders Edmunds and Sam feeding the monkeys.

Dennis enjoying Angkor Wat.

Extra security was everywhere for the Khmer New Year activities.

This group of maimed people play for all those who passed by.

The four elders are practically hidden the large roots at Ta Prohm, part of Angkor Wat.

Dennis and I in front of the massive tree trunks.

Notice the before and after of the reconstructing of Angkor Wat.

The four Elders in the tree roots.

All six of us near the tree roots. We had such a great time seeing Angkor Wat. To top off the day we did go out to eat. A fun way to celebrate the Khmer Happy New Year.
