We went to Sambour School the day the Presdient and his wife from America came to visit the school. They were so excited to have visitors at their school.

Here Da, our translator is teaching the children English. The kids would use the English that they had learned with us. Great effort.
Here the older children were cutting the pineapple for the dessert for lunch for the children.
Da and Dana were handing out the pineapple to each child and they loved it. The introduction of fruit to them was new a year ago, introduced to the them by Dana. They usually eat white rice and perhaps some vegetables.
Here the children were eating lunch and so happy that they could eat at school.
The lunch was a bowl of rice and a soup of vegetables and some meat like a stew. Many ate seconds of this good lunch.

We loved getting the chance to see the children and realize the money given by Americans really does improve the lives of these children.
