YSA 5 Ward

We knew we were in the YSA 2nd Stake.  Hurrah.

In the afternoon we learned that we are assigned to the YSA 5th Ward in the 2nd Stake.

We attend meetings in the new Heber J. Grant building which was dedicated last week by Elder Nelson.



This is a picture of the room where sacrament meeting is before anyone arrived.

Soon people began to arrive to sacrament meeting.  We learned they have lots of activities each week. This week we have them on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 



We were excited to join the students.



We were surprised how many students were there.  No empty seats.  It is a huge ward.



This is Ally Johnson, one of the RS presidents (there are 2 Relief Societies).  We know Ally since she admits us into the lunch line at the Student Center.

We loved attending our ward.   The students live off campus and are a bit older.



These beautiful plants are in the middle of this new Heber J. Grant building where we are fortunate enough to meet each Sunday.
