To Have a Wall or Not?

Here they are building a wall just a few feet from the ancient wall. To think we need another wall? This wall began going up in the Fall of 2010.





Dennis smiles with the workers who are so busy building the wall. How did they come up with the idea to build another wall?




This is the distance the two walls are apart. Pretty interesting.




Wow things change. All of a sudden in January the wall came down.




Big equipment was brought to bring the wall down.




Apparently, the Office of Antiquities was not consulted about building this new wall. They said the wall must come down.




Because they were told they must take down the wall quickly, in just two days the wall came down.



The next morning we saw the wall down. What a change.




This brought about big changes but we are happy.






This is the view of that ancient wall from our balcony. Isn't it beautiful.




Dennis and I are happy to have our old wall back.
