Janadriyah

Janadriyah is held once a year for two weeks and is much like a state fair. Dennis was holding a wooden bowl.




Janadriyah has show and tell of Saudi Arabia so we went to the Minstry of Finance.




Included were shops to sell things like this silver shop.




Here was shown the kraft of making elaborate doors.




Dennis is with the old man who would weave cloth.




I was in the party building.






There were several buildings and lots to see.






Seeing the tanks was lots of fun.






This was fun. We got to pose with a sailor too.






We got to hear a concert of a band and see the drummers. So interesting.




The fort was beautiful at night.






It was delightful to see the children enjoy the camel rides.




They say prayers five times a day. Here many men are praying as they are expected to do. We really enjoyed seeing Janadriyah, just an hour out of Riyadh.
