Dad's 80th Birthday

We celebrated Dad's birthday on January 29th in our new condo.

Dad made it. He is celebrating his 80th birthday.

Dad celebrated with Allan, Emily and Nathan.

Friday, Jan. 30th we went to King Buffet with Lori.  So the six other kids decorated the table to surprise us.

The other 6 kids were there ready to surprise us.

All of this to surprise us to celebrate Dad's birthday.

We were totally shocked and extremely happy to be
celebrating Dad's birthday together!!!

Wow, we all got to eat together at King Buffet.

Dad was given a special birthday dessert.

It was a great lunch together.

Dad loved all the decorations.

Dad loved celebrating his 80th birthday.

It was wonderful to all be together.

One of the first things we did was to go to an escape room.

Dad loved celebrating his 80th birthday.

On Jan. 31st the day was filled with Memory Lane activities

We visited 804 Walnut where all the kids were raised.

We visited the Provo Utah Rock Canyon temple
which is in process of being built.

We next visited Timpview High which every kid attended.

It was so interesting seeing Timpview High.

Next we visited Tawzer apartment where Dennis and I met.

This was the apartment where we met Oct. 18, 1968

This was the first duplex where we lived after we got married.

We also visited the bowling alley at BYU where Stacy used to work.

It was fun visiting BYU together!

Next we visited UVU since every kid attended here.

This was Dennis office for 28 years.

UVU has the Wolverine.

We went into a room Dad always taught in and we listened to him.

We listened as if we were students again.

So fun at UVU.

Our last stop was Centennial Middle School where I taught Orchestra and German for ten years.

We loved visiting Centennial Middle School together.

We played Kahoot at our condo.  So Fun. We also watched fascinating presentations by each of our children!

Happy 80th Birthday to Dad!!!
