Hatteras, North Carolina

We're so excited to go to Hatteras with
Kevin and Shannon and friends.

We first went to Busch Gardens on October 4th.

It was a long day (9 am - 11 pm) but a lot of fun at Busch Gardens.

We drove to  Kevin and Shannon's beach house in Hatteras
where we spent most of our time on Oct 5th.

And this is their pool.

We had fun on the beach.

This was one of the fun activities while in Hatteras.

We visited the Graveyard of the Atlantic museum where 2000 ships were sunk, many especially during World War II.

We went to the beach so we could find our own shells.

These are the shells we found on the beach.

We got to celebrate Kevin and Thom's birthdays.

Several beach houses were claimed by the ocean.

Those sticks were once beach houses.

We walked along Virginia Beach.

We were at Virginia Beach when they were experiencing a
Nor'easter bringing lots of wind and rain.  We left Hatteras just in time as the water covered the only highway out and was closed.

We loved going to Hatteras.

We're happy to be home again.
