Lake Placid, New York and Connecticut

We arrived in Connecticut in time to help celebrate Don's birthday.

Lots of candles when you turn 45.

Surprise - this is Kevin and Don when there were cub scouts at a park near BYU.

Don, Mom and Kevin - we look so young.

Here is Alex with his talent of card stacking.
This one was very high.

We took a picture of the inside up to the top.  Amazing.

Here goes the cards.

Alex there at the end.  Great fun.

We went to Lake Placid, New York and went to a water park.  Hi Don.

Katie had a great time too.

Meet the bear that likes it there with us.  We kept ourselves busy when they went skiing.

Dennis got there in time to join the hockey team.

Don joined the team too.

Here they are ready for their simulation ride.

Liked all the Lake Placid stuff.

Alex filmed us for our ride.

Dogs in place.

We are ready to go.

Off we go on our dog sled ride.

What a great memory.

Mush, dogs, mush.

We loved the ride around the lake.

It made us think of being in Alaska.

Fun but it was pretty cold.

The ride fulfilled my dream.

The tall house in the background is where we stayed.

Home again and much happier.

Alex would go play ice hockey.

So much fun for him to join the guys.

Yes we did watch a hockey game right where the 1980 Olympics were held.

This bob sled was part of it.  Notice Dennis' official ski hat.

We liked wearing our official hats and old timers recognized them immediately.  It was great fun at Lake Placid with Don & Jana and family.

We went back to Don's house for a couple days.

Vickie was all smiles for those few days.

She yelled, come back again and we will.
