Kevin & Shannon come to Laie, Hawaii

Jan. 29th Dennis turned 68 in Laie, Hawaii.  How great can that be.

We celebrated his birthday by going out to eat at a Thai restaurant with Courtney and Andrew.

We loved watching the waves.  They get so big in the winter on the North Shore.

We often saw these signs so no one went out swimming.

Thursday Shannon & Kevin came.  We spent a lot of time at the Heber J. Grant building.

Kevin talked to three or four Accounting and Finance classes answering many questions.

After the lecture the students would line up to talk with Kevin.

This was the group of BYUH professors who ate lunch with us.

Kevin was given lots of gifts for speaking at BYU-Hawaii

Kevin and Dennis wanted to go out to Goat Island.

They began their trek and walked around the island.

They returned with their shell treasures.

They conquered and we cheer them on.

We went to a restaurant in Kahuku.

 Lots of fun eating together.

We were able to go to a session and do family sealings.  Great.

I showed them my office since I am Devotional Coordinator.

Friday afternoon we spent at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Kevin liked the poi balls in the New Zealand Village.

Here we climbed aboard a canoe.

Kevin told them that he was a canoe pole pusher 25 years ago and they let him do it again.  We just had so much fun together.  We love having our children come visit us.
